We specialise in boat and plant transportation throughout the UK and Europe.
We can transport boats up to 14m x 5m with a weight up to 20 tons.
We hold all relevant permits to travel through the countries we visit. Vessels over 3m wide in the UK are classed as abnormal loads and have to be escorted, occasionally with a Police escort as well as our own escort.
We have our own escort vehicles with experienced drivers to ensure the smooth running of these abnormal loads.
When travelling abroad vessels over 2.5m wide “Convoi Exceptionnel” are classed as Cat.1 and are subject to special permits, routes and times.
Loads 3m to 4m, are classed as Cat.2.
All loads of this size require escort vehicles to travel with them at all times and are subject to special permits, routes and times. All foreign escorts are arranged by S.E.C.S Transport.
